Hi, my name is Jerry, I am 27 years old. I am married and have a 6-year-old little girl Kaitlyn. I worked hard everyday since I was 15 and never thought I would be in the shape that I am today, My whole life changed on November 10,2002 .I use to love fishing, hunting, bowling and camping I lived a very active life. I want to be able to do things with Jenni (my wife) and my whole family as a whole man again. My neck was broken in an altercation on November 10, 2002. I underwent 7 hours of surgery, and then spent two and half months in Lucerne Rehabilitation center. After being discharged for insurance reasons, I came home and underwent out- patient Rehab, up until July 2005. Since then I have received a lot more feeling and movement then doctors thought that I would. They said that I would never get anything back from my chest down. I am into my third year and I have feeling in my legs, arms and stomach.
I have done many hours of research on the Stem Cell Procedures. They harvest the stem cell various different ways. I thank the good LORD every day that he gave some one the knowledge to do this. The Stem Cell Procedure I have been selected for is in China. They have had promising results with this treatment. Many patients have regained different things back some even walk again. I have been accepted to go over to China and have this treatment done. I am praying that this will help me to walk again. They do a series of Stem Cell injections in the spinal cavity. The patient receives an injection once every five to seven days. The duration of my stay will be about a month and then I return home.
Although the treatment may not guarantee full recovery, I remain hopefully optimistic and have never given up FAITH that I would one day, walk again. That has been my goal since Nov.10, 2002. I believe it is a miracle from GOD that they can do the Stem Cell Transplant.
